Romantic Autumn Elopement at Avalon Legacy Ranch

MCKINNEY, TX – Thomas + Nicole’s October elopement at Avalon Legacy Ranch in McKinney was an absolute autumn dream. Nicole’s BHLDN gown and lush bouquet from Dr. Delphinium had me swooning, along with her beautiful vintage accessories and floral braid. The weather was temperate, beautiful and perfect for their outdoor ceremony. As their family and friends gathered to watch N + T say “I do” in a charming intimate setting, birds chirped cheerfully and a plane flew lazily overhead. The whole vibe was incredibly perfect and reminded me of the reason why I do this for a living and love it so much. The pure love, the commitment, the celebration of two people joining their lives together and making promises for life; it’s seriously just my favorite thing ever!

A little more about the newlyweds: “Our love story is still being written; it is an epic novel of excitement, caring, trust, understanding, challenges, the clash of cultures, and at the end of the day a tale of a deep friendship. We dated for 3 years and then did 3 years of long distance before we finally lived in the same city again. We’ve faced a lot of challenges and had to constantly evaluate our commitment to each other and every time we knew it was worth it. We’ve always explored, learned, and grown together. We got engaged June 2018. For our proposal, Jared sent an email to Nicole with pictures of the ring. So I had to improvise knowing she would figure it out that day and proposed in our kitchen.”

Nicole loves traveling, hiking, kayaking, cooking, and “destroying Thomas in rummy.”

Thomas loves cooking, traveling, playing games, outdoorsy stuff, and “whooping Nicole’s ass in bowling.”

Their most anticipated moments of their wedding day were vows, dancing, and spending time with their families.
