Charming Farmhouse Wedding at Rustic Grace Estate

VAN ALSTYNE, TX – Madison and Aaron’s charming and sentimental farmhouse wedding at Rustic Grace Estate in Van Alstyne was one of my absolute favorites! I have known both Madi and Aaron since before they ever started dating (what a story!) and they are both kind, caring and loving humans who were just made for each other on so many levels! From the gorgeous, fragrant florals to the Groom’s cake featuring their dog, Juneau, the details of this beautiful occasion were so thoughtfully put together and y’all, that DRESS! Madi’s stunning fitted Allure Bridals gown from Terry Costa stole the show and had me saying “YAAASSS GIRL” all day long! To top it off, their meaningful ceremony was centered around their faith, love, commitment and support from their family and friends and it was just so incredibly heartwarming. I am so honored to have been able to capture these gorgeous images for Madi & Aaron and I wish them both the best as they begin their journey through marriage!

A little about the couple: “We met at a concert in Denton in October 2013, but only briefly. We followed each other on social media after that and officially met in July 2014 at a concert in Oklahoma City. We knew as soon as we met in 2014 that we had equal feelings for each other but didn’t actually start to pursue them until January 2015. We talked for a couple of months and continued to get closer, but ended up not dating because Aaron was living in Denton and I was living in Oklahoma City. We dated other people for about a year and a half, but used this time apart to become best friends. We were each other’s emotional support throughout the negative romantic relationships that we were both in and told each other everything.

We were FINALLY able to start dating in October 2016 and knew the week we started dating that we would get married. Aaron first said “I love you” about a month into the relationship and I immediately said it right back! We were so lucky to have had our friendship as a foundation for our romantic relationship. Neither of us had this closeness before dating anyone else, so that’s absolutely part of the reason why our relationship is so wonderful. The part of our wedding we are most looking forward to is being announced as husband and wife…the entire day is so exciting, but we both feel like we’ve been waiting years to get married (I guess if you consider our story, we have been waiting that long!)”
